Tell Our Senators: No Coal in Our Stockings This Year

North Carolina is already feeling the impacts of climate change, and experts are warning us of worsening impacts if we don't act quickly. We’re already seeing increased flood risks in coastal and low-lying areas. Cities across the Southeast are experiencing more frequent and longer summer heat waves. Increasing precipitation and extreme weather events will likely impact roads, freight rail, and passenger rail, which will likely have cascading effects across the region.

It’s about time that Senators Tillis and Burr recognize the threat of climate change and take action to protect our state.
